Event Information

Greetings!

Our goal with this event is to create an environment where some of the best alternative fashion, vintage, and steam punk merchants and shoppers can come together.

The Midway will include a special gacha area, using our own custom gachas and scripts as well as a full expo area. We hope you will join us in making the first ever Mieville Midway a huge success!

Booths:

Small: 25 prims - L$ 1000
Medium: 50 prims - L$ 1500
Large: 75 prims L$ 2000

Sponsorships:

We have 10 (ten) sponsor slots available at a fee of L$ 10,000 each.
Sponsorship includes:

Premium advertising for your store at the landing area.
Your logo and a description of your store on the official blog.
A 200-prim extra-large Expo booth at no extra cost.

About Us:


Many of you may know us from one of the three Historical Hunts (Steam Hunt, Renaissance Hunt and Faire, & the Silk Road Hunt). This team has been involved in many successful projects for the steam punk community, and now is looking to move forward in offering a brand new event just for the alternative communities in SL!

Rules:

1.) All booth fees must be paid in full by no later than February 1st - Any merchant not paid at this point may be replaced without further notice.

2.) While extreme violence, blood, and gore are parts of the alternative community, and we hesitate to ban them outright, we also want to keep this a family safe event.  Anything featuring such themes should be kept behind a labeled barrier so that others may choose whether or not to view it.

3.) Any content deemed to be infringing on another's IP rights will be removed from the expo. We support the rights of original content creators and will not tolerate infringing works in the expo.

4.) We ask you to be mindful of your fellow exhibitors. Keep displays within your area, and don't infringe on others' space or walkways. Try to keep scripts in your booth to a minimum.  You may be asked to remove anything that causes undue lag.

5.) Any merchant removed from the expo for failure to obey the rules forfeits any right to a refund on booth or sponsorship fees.

Schedule:

Feb 1st - Merchant Shell packs handed out.

Feb 4th: Sim opens for merchants to build 6:00 AM SLT

Feb 7th - noon SLT-midnight: Blogger Preview Day

Feb 8th - noon SLT: Midway Opens to the Public!

Feb 22nd - Last day of Midway, closes at midnight SLT

Feb 23rd - Merchant Teardown

Feb 25th - any remaining items belonging to Merchants will be returned
